It's Official... Ryche is a big boy!

Ryche's 3rd birthday is right around the corner. We certainly hope you can make it to his party on 4/12!

Remember, it's a Super Hero themed party and costumes are encouraged (even for the grown ups). We will also have additional costumes to dress up in along with some fun Super Hero training and lunch!

Many people have already asked about what Ryche might like as a gift. Obviously, this is not a request for gifts, only ideas for those that have asked.

Here are things he likes bunches:

Cars (the movie)... he loves and is into anything with Lighting
McQueen, Mater, Mac and really loves "Doc" (which is hard to find) ... he has a few of the diecast cars and the movie... that's about it.

Elmo

Books

Size 4T clothing

Lucky Duck game

Plush Spiderman (that he could snuggle with in bed?)

Cars card table and chairs (he loves his cousin Therron's
table!)

Mickey Mouse

Thomas the Train

Diego

Summer Jammies

Playschool Honeybee Hop

Little guy sized baseball glove

Picnic Table

I don't know if that helps or hinders. Holler at me with questions: tonyavernon@yahoo.com

Ryche and I went to Deanna Rose Farmstead last Sunday to visit the pumpkin patch. Good thing, too, because it was the LAST day to enjoy the "patch". Ryche was SUCH a good boy... he played on everything, with everything... even picked up the balls at one of the games that were scattered EVERYWHERE. Jason said that was his OCD coming out... he he he.

Here's the pumpkin he picked at the patch...

Yikes... has it been that long since I updated our personal blog? Holy Moly, where does the time go?

Well, we have been keeping so busy over the Summer and now into Fall with a variety of things. Jordan played baseball this Summer and was really rockin' the mound! He gets better with every game. He also turned 12, yes 12, in August.... oh, do I feel old. He started football in August as well.

Ryche is growing so fast... he is talking a up a storm, showing a toddler's attitude and throwing the occassional temper tantrum. With all of this in his busy schedule, he is also trying to get the potty training down. He is doing good at trying!

Jason and I are just trying to get sleep every once in awhile. Jason is carting the boys off to all of the football practices and games each week while I try to keep up with all of the photography business I have built. We're hoping that sometime (maybe December?) we will be able to have a weekend to breathe and sleep... there's always wishing right?

Well, it certainly was a beautiful day for a party at the park. A bit windy (40 mph) but nonetheless, quite fun. We were very excited to have lots of family and friends join us to celebrate.

Here is a link to all the photos from the party... so enjoy!

Thank you to everyone for all the gifts! Ryche will be sending out his thank you cards soon...

RYCHE TURNS 2!!!!!

Ryche's birthday is April 14th, but with cousin Jamie getting married to her love, David, the same day, we are having his party on April 21st. I have had a lot of friends and family already ask what the little stinker wants... realizing he has more toys than he has time to play with... I decided to come up with a list of IDEAS.

Ryche does NOT expect gifts and just wants his family and friends to have some birthday treats at his Construction themed birthday party in the park. However, if you feel the need to bring him a little something, here are some ideas:

Magna Doodle- small one for the car (unfortunately, the one he received from Aunt Dana for Christmas got broke and he loves to play with it!)
Magna Doodle- larger one for inside play
Picnic Table
Toybox- for outdoors
Toddler Swing for outside
Play sprinkler
Teeter Totter (like the Little Tykes style)
Toddler Basketball Goal
Lap Table (saw these at Target... to do art, eat, etc)
Clothing- size 3T
Hot Wheels... loves the things! (We're still trying to find the garage that folds in half to carry like Uncle Jimmy had growing up!)
Car Coupe
Sandbox /Sand Toys
Mr Potato Head
Toddler size table/chairs
Books- board book style... he LOVES to read

He also likes blocks (he has a bag of big legos), Elmo and trains. He also enjoys reading and being rotten :) !!

We hope you can join us on Saturday, April 21st, for Ryche's bday. You should have your invitation soon!! Hope to see you all there!!

This is a blog to keep everyone around the country updated on our crazy lives in the Midwest. We are all doing pretty well. Jordan is now 11 (turns 12 in August- unbelievable) and Ryche turns the big 2 in April.

Above is the most recent picture of them together... time to take more! You would think with their mother being a photographer there would be photos ALL THE TIME! Hmmm, another post perhaps.
